People Pleaser Recovery Group

It's SO much more then just Learning to say NO!

Get together with other People Pleasers, figure out Where this coping strategy comes from, why its so hard to change ,and practice NEW Healthy self advocacy in relationships.

Dates: 5 weeks , Tuesdays 6:00pm to 7:30pm EST

Five 90 min classes exploring the reasons and purpose behind People Pleasing

Including: 

  • Community connection. Feel seen and heard by a circle who understands where you are

  •  Somatic movement, Where is my body holding

  • Time to apply the new tools, Journaling and writing prompts for self discovery 

  • Series also includes a private coaching session with instructor about your personal struggle

"People pleasing" is the Fawn response ( of Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn). It's a coping mechanism & survival strategy. 

Because it  was developed at a young age it can feel very difficult to imagine relating with others in a different way.

  • Learn how to identify your own needs and start practicing self advocacy.

  • Manage the grief and uncomfortable feelings that come with changing the way other expect you to be. 

  • Reconnect with you Anger, the power that you need take action 

  • Recognize and own where YOU are creating this cycle and learn to respect your boundaries and others. 

  • Learn what is your responsibility to manage and what's NOT
